Following the success of its Milan, Paris, and Rome editions — where the landmark display was extended due to extraordinary demand — the exhibition ‘From the Heart to the Hands: Dolce&Gabbana’ will arrive in the United States for the first time, at the Institute of Contemporary Art, Miami, from February 6 to June 14, 2026.
Curated by Florence Müller, with scenography by Agence Galuchat and produced by IMG, From the Heart to the Hands: Dolce&Gabbana invites visitors on a multisensory journey through the brand’s unconventional approach to the world of luxury characterised by elegance and sensuality, yet also humour, irreverence and playfulness. For Miami, the exhibition has been newly conceived in dialogue with ICA Miami’s expanded home, reflecting the museum’s role as a promoter of contemporary visual culture.
With more than three hundred pieces from both the archives and the new collections, the exhibition stands as a love letter to Italian culture — a timeless source of inspiration for Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana; it retraces their extraordinary creative process: from the heart, where ideas are born, to the hands, through which they take shape.
The journey presented by ‘From the Heart to the Hands: Dolce&Gabbana’ unfolds through a series of immersive rooms that reflect the many facets of the two Designers’ vision and their ongoing reinterpretation of Italian heritage through a contemporary lens. The exhibition draws from art, architecture, folklore, regional topographies and craftsmanship, as well as from Opera, Ballet, regional topographies and the timeless spirit of la dolce vita.
