The nappa leather embroidered gloves representing his initials and velvet boots completed the style. The look, all strictly black, was accentuated by the wide-brimmed hat with a veil over the face.

A black velvet frac coat with a wide peak lapel in silk satin with a grosgrain ribbon, a contrasting white cotton piqué vest with a square shawl collar; a white poplin tuxedo shirt with black studs buttons, and silk duchesse trousers. The classic pinstripe motif was reproduced on the Alta Sartoria double-breasted suit in white wool gabardine using a refined black crystal beading, which also featured prominently on the pointed derby shoes. On the second night of Sanremo, Achille Lauro walked down the stairs of the Ariston with a tailored coat displaying the matching precious embroidery on his shoulders. The silk twill shirt and tie and the black organza and velvet floral brooch on the lapel bolstered the sophisticated and romantic appeal of the look.

The stylistic choice for the fourth evening of the Sanremo Festival features the iconic Leo print, lit up by embroidered sequins that cover the entire dressing robe in sculptural lines. The silk satin shawl lapel was embellished with crystal beadings and black microelements stitched in a diamond pattern that gave off radiant reflections. During the performance on stage, after removing the robe, the singer showed off a draped top with a halter neckline in black silk satin and, over the trousers, an embroidered cummerbund that matched the lapel and the border of the long cady gloves.
Iconic contrasts
For the grand finale of the 2025 Sanremo Festival, Achille Lauro’s look became an emblem of refined and harmonious aesthetic contrasts. The precise coat with big peaked lapels in black velvet, completely embroidered with crystal beadings and gold microelements, met the iconic “Marcello” tank top in silk knit, bringing together the solemnity of Alta Sartoria with the inspiration from the brand’s origins. The high-waisted trousers in silk moiré with the sash belt on the waist, along with the derby shoes, reclaimed the charm of classical allusions.
